JAMB Officially Extends Admission Deadline for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially extended the deadline for the conclusion of all admission processes into Nigerian tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This extension applies to both public and private universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and other degree-awarding institutions. The move is aimed at giving institutions ample time to process and finalize pending admissions while ensuring no qualified candidate is left out.
Institutions are advised to make good use of this opportunity by speeding up admission processes and uploading lists to the JAMB CAPS portal.
Candidates who are yet to be admitted are also encouraged to remain patient, keep checking their CAPS, and ensure all necessary corrections and uploads (like O'Level results) have been made.
