UNILORIN Matriculates 10,166 Students for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has officially matriculated a total of 10,166 newly admitted students into various academic programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The matriculation ceremony, which marks the formal admission of students into the University, was held with great excitement and joy as the freshers were welcomed into the prestigious institution known for academic excellence and discipline.
In his address, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the new students on securing admission into one of Nigeria’s most sought-after universities. He urged them to be committed to their studies, embrace discipline, and uphold the values of the institution, which prides itself on being "Better By Far."
The ceremony also served as a reminder to the freshers about the responsibilities that come with being a student of UNILORIN, including adherence to rules and active participation in both academic and moral development.
