The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially closed the 2026 UTME E-PIN portal, marking the end of E-PIN sales for this year’s registration exercise. As it stands, candidates can no longer generate or purchase new E-PINs.

Except for an official announcement from JAMB regarding an extension — which is rarely granted — the opportunity to obtain a new E-PIN for the 2026 UTME has come to an end.

Important Notice for Candidates Who Already Purchased E-PIN

If you have successfully secured your E-PIN, this is not the time to relax.

You are strongly advised to:

Visit any accredited CBT centre immediately

Complete your biometric capture and full registration without delay

📅 Registration is scheduled to close on 28th February.

Failure to complete your registration before the official deadline may render your E-PIN invalid, and affected candidates may have to wait until the next UTME cycle.

For Candidates Who Could Not Obtain an E-PIN

Candidates who were unable to purchase their E-PIN before the portal closure may have limited options:

Wait until the next UTME registration period

Closely monitor official announcements in case JAMB reopens the portal

While last-minute extensions are uncommon, staying informed remains crucial.

At this critical stage, candidates are advised to remain calm, avoid misinformation, and rely only on verified updates from official sources.

For timely updates, accurate guidance, and real-time information on JAMB and other admission matters, stay connected to trusted education platforms.

Stay informed. Stay prepared. Success begins with the right information.
