FG SHUTS DOWN ACTIVITIES NATIONWIDE AS APRIL 3 & 6 DECLARED EASTER HOLIDAYS 🔥

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially declared Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6 as public holidays in celebration of the Easter season, bringing activities across the nation to a temporary halt.

According to the announcement, Friday, April 3 will be observed as Good Friday, while Monday, April 6 has been set aside as Easter Monday. These important dates in the Christian calendar will see the closure of government offices, banks, schools, and several private institutions nationwide.

Good Friday is a solemn and deeply spiritual day for Christians, marking the crucifixion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind. It is a time for reflection, prayer, and remembrance of the love and sacrifice that defines the Christian faith. Churches across Nigeria are expected to hold special services and gatherings to commemorate this sacred event.

Easter Monday, which follows the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a day filled with joy, thanksgiving, and continued festivities. It provides an opportunity for families and friends to come together, celebrate life, and share in the spirit of love and unity that Easter represents.

The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to use this period to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the country. Citizens are also encouraged to celebrate responsibly, remain security conscious, and extend love and kindness to one another during the holiday.

With the declaration, many Nigerians are expected to travel across states, reconnect with loved ones, and take a break from their daily routines. The holiday period is also anticipated to boost social and economic activities in various parts of the country.

Beyond the celebrations, the Easter season serves as a powerful reminder of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. It is a time to reflect on personal growth, strengthen faith, and look forward to a brighter future.

Happy Easter in advance to all Nigerians! ✝️✨
