The ECWA College of Nursing Sciences (ECONS), Egbe has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME application for admission into the ND Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. This is a great opportunity for candidates aspiring to build a solid career in nursing and healthcare.
The application portal opened on April 28, 2026, and will run until August 14, 2026. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant science subjects, including Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings from recognized examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
In addition, candidates must have scored at least 170 in the 2026 UTME, conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, with the required subject combination of Use of English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Applicants are also expected to have selected ECONS, Egbe as their first choice institution in JAMB. However, candidates who did not initially choose the college can still apply but must carry out a change of institution and make ECONS their first choice on or before September 16, 2026.
Furthermore, all applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026 to qualify for admission.
As part of the screening process, a Computer-Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to hold on September 16, 2026, at the college premises by 9:00 AM. Candidates are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes early. This will be followed by a physical screening exercise on September 17, 2026, where candidates are required to present the original copies of their credentials for verification.
