The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has released a formal update outlining key academic dates for the ongoing 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester. The announcement, signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Moji T. Bakare-Odunola, was made public on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025.
According to the memorandum, all lectures are expected to conclude officially on Friday, 16th January 2026, with departments instructed to wrap up teaching activities by Friday, 9th January 2026 to ensure full compliance with the academic calendar.
The University portal will be open for uploading Continuous Assessment (CA) scores and approved results between Monday, 19th January and Friday, 23rd January 2026. This window has also been designated as a Lecture-Free Week, reserved solely for academic submissions—no classes are to hold during this period.
Furthermore, Harmattan Semester Examinations are set to begin on Monday, 26th January 2026 and will run through to Friday, 13th February 2026
