📢 JAMB RELEASES APPROVED CBT CENTRES FOR 2026 UTME MOP-UP EXAMINATION
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially published the list of accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres designated for the conduct of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mop-Up Exercise.
The mop-up examination is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 13th June, 2026, and is specifically organized for candidates who, due to verified reasons, were unable to successfully complete their UTME during the main examination period. This includes candidates affected by technical glitches, biometric verification challenges, examination disruptions, and other approved circumstances recognized by the Board.
As part of preparations for the exercise, JAMB has advised all affected candidates to immediately reprint their examination notification slips. The reprinted slip contains essential information such as the candidate's examination centre, reporting time, examination schedule, and other vital instructions required for participation in the mop-up exercise.
To further assist candidates, the Board has also released a comprehensive list of approved CBT centres that will host the examination nationwide. Candidates are encouraged to carefully review their assigned centres and familiarize themselves with the location ahead of the examination date to avoid unnecessary delays or confusion.
JAMB emphasized the importance of early preparation, urging candidates to verify their examination details promptly, make adequate transportation arrangements where necessary, and arrive at their designated centres well before the stipulated reporting time.
The Board has consistently maintained that the mop-up exercise serves as the final opportunity for eligible candidates to participate in the 2026 UTME. Consequently, all affected candidates are strongly advised to take the exercise seriously and strictly adhere to all examination guidelines and instructions provided by JAMB.
Candidates should note that failure to appear for the mop-up examination may result in the forfeiture of the opportunity to participate in the 2026 UTME exercise.
