According to the university, the online registration portal opened on June 12, 2026, and will remain accessible until August 31, 2026. Prospective applicants are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid missing the opportunity.
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must have sat for the 2026 UTME and obtained at least 150 marks alongside the approved cut-off mark for their chosen course of study. Applicants must also possess the required O'Level credits as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
Candidates who selected Edo State University, Iyamho as their first-choice institution are encouraged to proceed with the application. However, candidates who did not initially choose the institution but meet the minimum requirements can still apply after changing their first-choice institution to Edo State University through the JAMB CAPS platform.
Direct Entry candidates must have registered through JAMB and satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by the university. In addition, all applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026.
The university further emphasized that only candidates who successfully upload their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS on or before August 31, 2026, will be considered for admission.
